Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking a hybrid Systems Engineer / Dev Engineer / DevOps Engineer to blend infrastructure management, software development, and CI/CD automation. You will bridge building applications and running them reliably, designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, and enabling rapid, safe deployments with software teams.

Responsibilities include provisioning cloud and on-prem environments with IaC (Terraform, Ansible), building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), writing

Qualifications

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance required.
• BS/BA in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go and shell scripting.
• Git and collaborative source control workflows.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.
• Automation-first mindset and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS and on-premises servers with IaC.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Develop scripts and internal tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Collaborate with software and IT operations teams.
• Enforce security practices and manage secrets.
