Job summary

TransCore is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our team in Harrisburg, PA, Houston, TX, or Miramar, FL. The role focuses on maintaining software, hardware, and networks, diagnosing issues, and ensuring infrastructure stability with minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have AD/Group Policy experience, Hyper-V and Azure familiarity, and strong PowerShell skills, along with IT policy documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Experience with databases and basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/vWAN).
• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery principles.
• Familiarity with Hyper-V, Azure, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with MS 365 and Office tools; strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and networks.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and security controls.
• Provide Level 2 desktop support and assist third‑party help desk.
• Create KB articles and document IT policies for staff.
