Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support system integration projects in a hybrid, travel-friendly role across the United States. You will contribute to designing, configuring, and developing SaaS solutions, while aligning client requirements with platform capabilities and best practices.

The role emphasizes problem solving, coding, and documentation to deliver value for public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with COTS or SaaS solutions.
• Must have experience in all system development life cycle phases using Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid Agile approaches.
• Proficient in JavaScript or other common coding languages for system configuration, development, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with JSON formatting and APIs, including how to implement and test them effectively.
• Participation in the implementation of integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems and/or mainframe technology through the development of n-tier-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designing, configuring, and developing custom forms, templates, and workflows.
• Implement our SaaS platforms to best serve our clients.
• Configure client-specific functionality using SaaS platform tools, JavaScript, and other coding languages.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on defined specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Gather, evaluate, and document customer use cases and business processes.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Understand low-code platforms and relational databases; contribute to project reports.
