Job summary

Sigma Information Group, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to manage multi-client IT infrastructures, including servers, desktops, networks and security. This role blends on-site support in the Houston metro with remote work for clients in other markets, including Austin.

The ideal candidate is autonomous, communicative, and capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–3 years IT management experience.
• Minimum 1 year as a network/system administrator, IT manager or IT consultant.
• Prior MSP/IT consultancy experience a big plus.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Office.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy complex solutions involving Exchange, VMware and Windows Server.
• Coordinate internal and external resources and vendors.
• Build new network and server environments.
• Manage, maintain and upgrade existing servers, networks and desktops.
• Maintain relationships with multiple customers and communicate status updates.
• Understand customer business processes and recommend technology solutions.
