Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in surgical services preferred.
• Ophthalmology or surgical specialty experience preferred.
• EMR experience with NextGen preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of Scheduling, Records and Referrals Coordinators.
• Oversee daily operations and standardize workflows across locations.
• Monitor productivity, staffing, and patient flow; adjust resources as needed.
• Support and optimize scheduling workflows in NextGen, including templates and rescheduling.
• Maintain oversight of surgical access to ensure timely patient scheduling.
• Partner with clinicians and leadership to improve processes and outcomes.
• Lead performance updates to leadership and ensure compliance with policies.
