Job summary

Aon in Los Angeles seeks a Surety professional to manage bond programs with accuracy and strong client service. You will collaborate with clients, surety carriers, and internal teams, owning key accounts and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.

The role combines technical surety expertise with advisory duties, offering exposure to market practices and mentoring opportunities within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Notary Public designation required.
• Experience with surety bonds and bond program structures is advantageous.
• Experience with onboarding, mentoring, and training internal teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage selected accounts and own client relationships.
• Prepare and process various surety instruments per underwriting guidelines.
• Coordinate with clients and markets to gather financials and documents for underwriting review.
• Ensure electronic bond files are accurate in AonBondLink (ABL).
• Support compliance and internal controls to prevent E&O.
• Assist in structuring bond requests exceeding standard limits.
