Job summary

Univar Solutions, a global chemical and ingredients distributor, seeks a Supply Planner to coordinate inventory planning and procurement cost across the supply chain network. This role is highly visible and impacts service levels and cost efficiency.

You will partner with Sales, Operations and Transportation, use MRP tools, analyze data, and drive improvements to balance inventory targets with demand, while ensuring accurate PO data and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations, Finance or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and data manipulation (graphs, pivots, vlookups).
• Knowledge of integrated planning software is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Commit to process improvement and root cause analysis.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance inventory targets with forecast accuracy and service levels for allocated SKUs.
• Coordinate and optimize purchase order data to support Sales, Operations & Transportation teams.
• Identify improvements to supply planning processes and use MRP tools to review projections.
• Meet customer demand and regional performance objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest adjustments to parameters and loads.
• Resolve stockouts and supply issues with mitigating actions.
• Track weekly/monthly metrics versus targets.
