Job summary

RS Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inventory Planner to manage daily supply planning operations, balance PO execution, and optimize procurement strategies. You will collaborate with Sales, Suppliers and Demand Planners to maintain stock levels, analyze costs, and sustain service levels through real-time PO updates and supplier coordination.

A 1–3 year background in inventory or supply chain and a Bachelor’s in Business are preferred; the role offers hybrid work and growth opportunities

• Understanding of end-to-end planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory planning and PO delivery for defined supplier partners.
• Review, approve, and release purchase orders.
• Conduct cost break analytics to maximize revenue and margin.
• Collaborate with Sales, Suppliers, Product Managers and Demand Planners.
• Maintain PO schedules by vendor with Demand Planning.
• Review customer orders to maximize purchasing opportunities and inventory.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Product Management and Finance on PO opportunities.
• Monitor and expidite open POs to meet delivery commitments.
• Support expediting of sales orders with suppliers.
• Participate in training and perform related duties.
