Job summary

Uponor in Apple Valley, MN is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to collaborate with Supply Chain (Sourcing and Purchasing) on supplier development, quality improvements, and KPI-driven performance management.

The role is hybrid with onsite work at our North American manufacturing headquarters in Apple Valley, MN. You will monitor supplier performance, support PPAP and SCAR processes, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain required.
• 0–3 years experience in manufacturing or supplier quality preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and monitor supplier performance using KPI metrics and COPQ analysis.
• Lead PPAP, CAPA, and supplier quality activities to meet Uponor requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier strategies with Quality and Supply Chain goals.
• Assist in onboarding new suppliers and providing training to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support major supplier quality investigations and SCAR processes; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
