Job summary

Uponor Corporation in Lakeville, MN seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to collaborate with Supply Chain, QA, and Manufacturing to drive supplier performance and quality improvements.

The role focuses on evaluating suppliers, implementing PPAP and APQP activities, and leading cross-functional teams to meet quality and delivery objectives while supporting cost reduction initiatives. Hybrid work in Minneapolis metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain required.
• 0 to 3 years experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with clear communication.
• Experience with PPAP, 8D, CAP and related quality tools is preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage multiple initiatives.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage supplier performance and KPI tracking.
• Support PPAP disposition, SCAR responses and supplier audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on QMS improvements.
• Lead supplier onboarding and training for new and existing vendors.
• Drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements through supplier collaboration.
