The 12-week paid summer program runs full-time, Monday through Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office and remote) at Springfield, MA. Responsibilities include assisting with roadway design, supporting traffic studies, and preparing reports while using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Synchro.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering and/or transportation engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or similar programs is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roadway and traffic engineering design, including signals, signs, and pavement markings.
• Support traffic studies, data collection, and analysis of traffic flow and patterns.
• Contribute to transportation planning and traffic impact studies, including permit applications.
• Conduct field visits, surveys, and construction support activities.
• Prepare technical reports and utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Synchro.
