Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) invites energetic undergraduate students to join the Summer Undergraduate Internship Program in Computing. You will engage in hands-on research across computational science, cyber defense, computer science, numerical methods, and mathematics, with mentors guiding your progress.

Selected interns will provide technical support to projects and may experience a hybrid schedule, blending on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

• Continuing college/university student in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in CS/Math/Data Science or related STEM fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Eligible to access LLNL facilities per NDAA requirements and start dates.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in practical research during the Summer Undergraduate Internship Program.
• Provide technical and/or research support to projects in computational science, cyber defense, or related STEM areas.
