We seek a Structural Engineer in Louisville, KY, hybrid role, responsible for structural analysis, calculations, and detailing. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years in structural design, EIT

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in Structural Design/Engineering in industrial field.
Must be a certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

Perform structural calculations, design, and detailing for structural building elements per codes.
Review and interpret technical documents and designs.
Coordinate with clients, design professionals and contractors.
Prepare AutoCAD drawings and/or 3D models to present design details.
Follow company standards, policies and procedures.
Ensure on-time completion of jobs per project schedule.
Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
