Job summary

LVI Associates in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Mid-Senior Structural Engineer to lead design, analysis, and delivery of structural projects from concept through construction. The role blends hands-on engineering with increasing project leadership and client interaction in a collaborative, technically focused environment.

You will work on steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sectors, with hybrid work options and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain in near future.
• Experience designing and evaluating building structures.
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Conduct structural investigations, condition assessments, and field inspections.
• Develop repair and rehabilitation solutions for existing structures.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Review drawings and deliverables for technical accuracy and code compliance.
• Support construction administration activities, including site visits and responding to field issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers as project responsibilities increase.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
