Lvi-Associates in Minneapolis seeks a Licensed Structural Engineer to join a St. Paul-based, employee-owned practice. The role involves design through construction, with exposure to steel, concrete, masonry, and wood across diverse projects.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is key to delivering quality results. Requirements include 5–10 years of structural experience, a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering degree, and EIT certification with PE/SE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.
• EIT certification required; PE/SE licensure preferred.
• Experience designing building structures with multiple materials.
• Working knowledge of relevant building codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Preparing calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• Reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
• Conducting site visits and construction observations as needed.
• Supporting project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Providing guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
