Job summary

Stantec’s New England Transportation group is seeking a highly experienced Structural Design Team Leader with 15+ years in bridge design and transportation project delivery. The role is hybrid between Burlington and Boston offices, requiring in-office presence about three days a week.

You will oversee pursuits, technical design management, project delivery, quality, contract administration, risk management, and lead multi-disciplinary teams from planning through construction, while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• MA Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering and project management experience with bridge design and transportation project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Stantec’s Southern New England Structural Team.
• Contribute to initiatives to advance project design, operations, and business development.
• Maintain and enhance our reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider.
• Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
• Represent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader.
• Identify resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives; manage tasks, costs, and schedule; implement measures to stay on schedule and within budget.
