Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to partner with program leaders, build effective teams, and align HR initiatives with organizational goals.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site, and is exempt. The candidate should have extensive experience in employee relations and HR operations, with the ability to navigate complex regulations and partner with legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Experience with multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal/state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Meets regularly with program VPs and their teams.
• Provides HR guidance to ensure positive outcomes.
• Analyzes trends and metrics with HR to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management.
• Works with management to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Supports program restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Identifies training needs and executive coaching needs.
• Evaluates and monitors training programs to ensure success.
