Job summary

Dentons US LLP is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Development to support the firm’s growth across practice areas and sectors. This hybrid role partners with practice leaders, lawyers and the BD team to drive high-impact initiatives that strengthen client relationships and create new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, a proactive communicator and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders to push initiatives forward and improve the firm’s market profile.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of business development or marketing experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into client-focused messaging
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication, presentation and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide support to lawyers and the BD team in the creation, preparation and coordination of RFPs, proposals and pitches across practice areas
• Draft and coordinate content for proposals, presentations and related materials aligned with firm branding
• Collect and maintain matter data in the firm's experience management system for pitches and credentials
• Maintain and update core pitch materials and marketing collateral reflecting recent experience and sectors
• Support lawyers and BD leadership in client development, identifying targets and pursuing opportunities
• Identify cross-practice connections to increase internal visibility and collaboration
• Conduct market, industry and competitive intelligence research to identify growth opportunities
• Monitor trends and prepare briefing materials for partners and stakeholders
• Support knowledge management and AI-readiness initiatives across BD functions
• Assist with thought leadership initiatives, client alerts and event promotion in line with policy and branding
