Dentons is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Development to drive BD initiatives across practices and sectors from a central operational role. The role partners with lawyers and the BD team to execute high-impact efforts that strengthen client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of business development or marketing experience in professional services (law firm preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree; a combination of training, education and experience may be considered.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear messaging.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication, presentation and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in RFPs, proposals and pitches across practice areas, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
• Draft and coordinate content for proposals, presentations and marketing collateral aligned with branding.
• Maintain matter data in the experience management system for pitches, bios and client materials.
• Update core pitch materials reflecting recent experience and team contributions across practice groups.
• Support client development strategies, pursue opportunities and flag concerns to leadership.
• Identify cross-practice connections to increase internal visibility and collaboration.
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence research to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare insight-driven briefing materials for partners and stakeholders.
• Support knowledge management and AI readiness through document audits and naming conventions.
• Develop thought leadership content and client communications in compliance with policies.
• Coordinate rankings submissions and credential materials for directories.
