Job summary

Dentons US LLP seeks a Senior Coordinator, Business Development to lead and coordinate the firm’s BD efforts across practice areas and sectors. You will work closely with practice leaders, lawyers and the BD team to execute high-impact initiatives that strengthen client relationships and enhance the firm’s market profile.

The role emphasizes organization, initiative and confident communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of business development or marketing experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree; degree may be complemented by relevant training/experience
• Strong writing and editing skills translating complex concepts into client-friendly messaging
• Highly organized with attention to detail and solid communication and project-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative team
• Professional presence and confidence interacting with senior-level lawyers and stakeholders
• Self-starter, proactive and service-oriented with problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with marketing tech and CRM tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development and management across practice areas and pitches
• Draft content for proposals, presentations and materials aligned with firm branding
• Maintain matter data in the experience management system for pitches and directories
• Update core pitch materials and marketing collateral reflecting recent experience and team members
• Support client development efforts including target identification and pursuit strategy
• Identify cross-practice connections to enhance collaboration across the firm
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence research to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare briefing materials for partners and stakeholders
• Assist with knowledge management projects to enable AI adoption and efficiency
• Support thought leadership and events, including blogs, alerts and webinars
• Assist with rankings submissions and credential packaging for directories
