Cox Automotive is seeking an Accountant II to serve as a financial partner within Cox Fleet. You will perform general accounting tasks, manage high-volume journal entries, and ensure GAAP compliance. The role requires collaboration with business partners and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Hybrid work arrangement allows remote work part of the week. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and 2 years of related experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting with 2 years’ related experience; or master’s with up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly with proper support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Support monthly close with necessary journal entries.
• Ensure GAAP adherence and timely close processes.
• Perform general ledger journal entries for accruals or reclassifications.
• Analyze monthly activities and provide improvement recommendations.
• Investigate and correct errors in financial entries.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and assist with projects.
