Job summary

Cox Automotive, based in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Accountant - International to manage core accounting activities across US and international entities. You will handle GL, reconciliations, financial reporting, and research while partnering with global teams to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Master's degree with 2+ years or Ph.D with 1+ year experience acceptable.
• Non-degreed candidates may have 10+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close process and post journal entries.
• Record, reconcile, and settle intercompany transactions.
• Perform accounting research and variance analysis.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation.
• Explain differences between US GAAP and local statutory accounting.
• Document local processes to standardize in line with policy.
• Prepare audit schedules and support statutory audits.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Treasury, FP&A and Operations teams globally.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local standards.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and complete projects.
