Job summary

Financial Additions is seeking an Accountant in Carrollton, Texas, to join our hybrid work environment on a contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on preparing financial statements and supporting external reporting, audits, and closing activities.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of staff-level accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP). ERP software experience is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and assist with external reporting and audits.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses.
• Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
