Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer II to enhance the reliability, scalability, and operational health of production services. Qualifications

• Typically 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in Software/SRE/DevOps or related field.
• Experience with software development or scripting using one or more modern programming languages.
• Experience with software engineering principles, distributed systems, production troubleshooting, automation, and observability.
• Experience with public cloud technologies and architectures, preferably AWS, along with Linux/Unix and modern app architectures.

Responsibilities

• Use software engineering, automation, and DevOps to improve how services are built, tested, deployed, observed, operated and recovered.
• Identify reliability risks and guide technical decisions using data and experiments.
• Define or improve SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and other service-health measures.
• Improve observability through metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and dashboards.
• Drive CI/CD, IaC, automation, testing, incident response, and capacity management across services.
• Partner with Software Eng teams to ensure reliability and operational readiness throughout the lifecycle.
