Job summary

House Rx in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Specialty Pharmacist to join onsite with a hybrid option. You will partner with specialty care clinics to optimize outcomes and improve patient experiences in specialty pharmacy.

You will navigate benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and financial assistance, and contribute to building scalable workflows in a startup environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

PharmD or equivalent and PA license.
Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance.
Willingness to work in a startup environment and build workflows.
Familiarity with EMR and specialty pharmacy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize therapies for specialty patients.
Collaborate with clinics to improve outcomes and patient experience.
Navigate insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and appeals as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers about therapies and coverage.
Coordinate with care team to resolve clinical questions and ensure documentation.
Serve as liaison between patient, providers, and care team.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes.
