Job summary

Vizient is seeking a sourcing professional to develop and execute contracting strategies, draft and redline terms, and support the full sourcing lifecycle from data analysis to supplier engagement and contract maintenance.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to strengthen sourcing, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities while navigating a Hybrid work model with multiple office locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of MedSurg or clinical experience required.
• Foundational experience in contract review, redlining, or negotiation support.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Hybrid work model: three days in office; locations include Irving TX, Chicago IL, Charlotte NC, Nashville TN, Centennial CO.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and redlining contract terms under guidance.
• Participate in supplier negotiations by preparing materials and summarizing issues.
• Support alignment between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure contract documents reflect updates and meet standards.
• Elevate complex negotiation items to senior sourcing executives.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies by analyzing data and supplier information.
• Assist in RFP creation, distribution, and initial evaluations.
• Coordinate supplier communications and scheduling for sourcing activities.
• Support contract maintenance activities, including amendments and renewals.
• Prepare communications detailing sourcing progress and supplier updates.
