Job summary

Vizient in Nashville, TN is seeking a sourcing/contracting professional to support the development and execution of strategies that reduce spend and improve operational efficiency. You will draft, redline, and negotiate terms under Legal guidance, and assist across the full sourcing lifecycle from data analysis to supplier engagement and contract maintenance.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, gather information, and document updates, ensuring updates reflect agreed terms

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Foundational experience in contract review, redlining, or negotiation support preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with data and trend identification.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills for stakeholder alignment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• This role follows a hybrid work model with three days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and redlining contract terms under guidance of senior team members and Legal.
• Participate in supplier negotiations by preparing materials and contributing to discussions.
• Support alignment between clients, suppliers, and internal teams by gathering information.
• Ensure contract documents reflect updates and adhere to standards.
• Elevate complex items to senior sourcing executives for guidance.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies by analyzing data, market insights, and supplier information.
• Assist in RFP creation, distribution, bid collection, and initial evaluations.
• Coordinate supplier communications and scheduling for sourcing activities.
• Support contract maintenance activities including amendments and renewals.
• Prepare communication materials summarizing sourcing progress and opportunities.
