Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer in Cypress, CA hybrid role to translate owner and project requirements into BAS design‑assist deliverables for a range of facilities, including higher education, data centers, hospitals, and laboratories, collaborating with EOR/GC/MEP teams.

You will lead design‑assist execution from release to commissioning, perform risk reviews, and coordinate with contractors to ensure complete, compliant engineering packages and a smooth handoff to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• 5+ years of building automation design experience.
• Travel up to 25% may be required for team gatherings, project kick-offs, or training.
• Knowledge of submittal packages, documentation expectations, and contractual requirements.
• Strong communication with technical concepts for C-level customers.

Responsibilities

• Translate project goals into BAS design‑assist deliverables for various facilities (education, data centers, hospitals, labs).
• Lead constructability and integration readiness reviews to surface gaps and risks early.
• Coordinate design deliverables with area offices and stakeholders to meet contract requirements.
• Ensure third‑party integration, mechanical/electrical layouts, and network diagrams align with scope.
• Lead design‑assist execution through release to commissioning readiness and handoff to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with contractors and EOR to protect design intent and drive cost‑effective decisions.
