Job summary

ThoughtSpot is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Chicago, IL to drive business value for prospects and customers by demonstrating ThoughtSpot’s BI analytics platform and services. You will work with sales teams to solve enterprise data challenges, leveraging SQL and data modeling skills, and engage in multi‑customer engagements in a hybrid office setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in solutions engineering or technical sales, strong SQL and data modeling knowledge, and experience with cloud

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering or similar
Experience selling technical solutions to enterprise customers
Strong understanding of BI/Analytics and data warehousing concepts
Ability to travel as needed
Collaborative team player with initiative and independence in a fast-growing environment

Responsibilities

Understand customers’ analytic goals and challenges through discovery
Present and articulate business value of ThoughtSpot platform to all levels
Demonstrate product and differentiate from competitors
Define and conduct product evaluations with customers using their data
Lead multiple engagements simultaneously while learning and sharing knowledge
Partner with Sales on account strategy and planning
Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer champions and Account Executives
