Job summary
Cambia Health is seeking a Solutions Architect I or II for its Corporate Solutions group. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office across select offices including Portland.
You will guide modernization of a large, legacy ecosystem spanning Finance, Legal, Compliance, Imaging, and Middleware, partnering with engineers and executives to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions. You will evaluate legacy code, design data pipelines, and implement API-driven patterns while mentoring a broad team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field plus 7 years IT experience including 2 years in technical leadership and architecture.
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions in complex environments is required.
- Health insurance industry experience preferred or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical authority for Corporate Solutions architecture across multiple domains.
- Diagnose legacy complexity and develop modernization roadmaps.
- Lead evaluation of integrations and define modern patterns (file-based, API-driven, streaming).
- Provide hands-on guidance, code reviews, and problem solving for engineering teams.
