Job summary

Syngenta Durham, NC seeks a Site Operations Manager to lead and improve Group Facilities Management services across multiple sites. Drive governance, budgeting, and supplier performance while partnering with site leaders and stakeholders to optimize safety, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities include overseeing capital and maintenance projects, real estate portfolio management, and building strong cross-functional teams across locations to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least five years of corporate facilities management and real estate operations experience with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and cost-optimization in a complex environment.
• Proven contract governance and third-party supplier management (SLAs, KPIs).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, legal, compliance, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and engage geographically dispersed teams.

• Lead delivery and improvement of facilities services across multiple sites.
• Provide leadership to the area facilities organization and promote engagement.
• Manage budgets and financial performance with stakeholders and suppliers.
