AMT in Herndon, VA is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site / Civil team in our Herndon office. The position will start in May 2027 upon graduation, with a hybrid schedule of office and remote work.

Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, designing site and infrastructure improvements, and supporting inspections and construction administration. A BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) and proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or MicroStation are preferred; EIT is

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• EIT preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site laying and roadway improvements, calculations and reports, and site inspections and construction administration duties.
