AMT Engineering in Herndon, VA is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site / Civil design team at the Herndon office. Position starts in May 2027 after graduation. You will support design and document preparation on site and infrastructure projects with potential collaboration across AMT offices.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Technical proficiency in AutoCAD including Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred.
• Ability to assist on preparation of engineering studies and reports.
• EIT preferred and internship experience with plans, specifications, and cost estimates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site laying including roadway improvements, the preparation of calculations and reports, and site inspections and construction administration duties.
