Zones – First Choice for IT. is seeking a Service Operations Specialist in Jersey City, NJ. The hybrid role combines hands-on hardware repair, testing, and RMA processing with inventory management, field service logistics, and cross-functional coordination.

The candidate will repair server hardware, manage parts across locations, and collaborate with internal teams and 3PL providers to ensure service readiness and customer satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Technical education or degree in Electronics, Computer Tech, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in hardware repair, service ops, logistics, inventory mgmt, or related tech environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems and computer hardware.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux.
• Strong Excel skills and general ERP familiarity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair servers, storage, networking equipment, and RMA products.
• Test, calibrate, and validate repaired systems and components.
• Perform inventory management and reconcile stock across locations.
• Coordinate with 3PLs and service teams to ensure on-time parts dispatch and SLA compliance.
• Document repairs, RMAs, and service activities; support audits and reporting.
