Job summary

Wilton Re in Norwalk, CT seeks an experienced AVP, Total Rewards to lead compensation, benefits, payroll, and workforce analytics. You will partner with HR, Finance, and leaders to maintain programs, monitor market trends, and ensure compliance.

This hybrid role offers a base salary range of $140,000–$180,000, plus annual bonus, 401(k) with employer contribution, and profit-sharing. Minimal travel and a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience specifically in compensation and benefits.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to translate complex workforce and compensation data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated expertise in compensation analysis, benefits administration, payroll support, workforce planning, and reporting.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and process discipline.
• Ability to balance strategic analysis with hands-on operational execution in a lean HR environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners to support annual compensation planning, salary review cycles, and incentive compensation processes.
• Develop and maintain compensation frameworks, guidelines, and the company's total rewards and compensation philosophy.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure pay practices remain competitive and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Research and monitor compensation and benefits market trends, providing recommendations and insights to HR leadership.
• Provide oversight for payroll data changes, adjustments, and reconciliations; support year-end incentive planning.
