Job summary

Aon is seeking a Surety Account Executive/Broker for its Construction Services Group in the U.S. hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite weekly across Dallas area offices.

You will manage a portfolio of surety clients, advise on program structures, and coordinate with surety markets to secure facilities for major domestic and global projects. Qualifications include 5+ years in surety, a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Surety industry.
• Relationship builder - internally and externally.
• Ability to travel.
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and technical proficiency is critical.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of surety clients.
• Provide advisory services on surety program options and structures.
• Consult with clients regarding surety market conditions and surety companies.
• Secure and manage surety facilities to meet bond requirements and prepare placement memos.
• Maintain existing surety relationships and lead client meetings with sureties.
• Monitor client structure, operations and credit for surety programs.
• Lead day-to-day account management with client service team.
• Deliver new solutions and maximize surety credit for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring in new clients and respond to RFPs.
• Prepare and present surety proposals and presentations.
