Job summary

Aon is seeking a Surety Account Executive/Broker to join our Construction Services Group in a hybrid role based in a local Dallas/Houston area office. You will manage and grow a diverse portfolio of surety clients, advising on program structures and market options to fit client needs.

With 5+ years in the surety industry, you’ll lead client meetings, coordinate with sureties, and drive new business by collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Must obtain an active Property and Casualty license within four months of hire (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of surety clients.
• Provide advisory services by outlining surety program options and recommended structures.
• Consult with clients regarding surety market conditions and surety companies.
• Secure and manage surety facilities to meet client bond requirements, including documentation and terms negotiations.
• Lead day-to-day account management with client service teams.
• Drive growth by collaborating with internal teams to win new clients and respond to RFPs.
• Prepare and present surety proposals and presentations.
