Job summary

Markel is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst to strengthen our Personal Lines Compliance practice. You will lead or participate in audits, interpret regulatory changes, and guide form, rate, and rule filings while supporting product and underwriting teams.

The role emphasizes strong regulatory research, communication, and organization, with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate or degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst.
• Insurance certifications or industry affiliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in market conduct exams, regulatory audits, and partner audits, maintaining relationships with regulators and stakeholders.
• Interpret state laws and assess impact; lead filing projects for forms, rates, and rules.
• Lead development of forms, and provide compliance guidance to product and underwriting teams.
