Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for Capital Projects in the United States. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days in the office and two remote days.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules for electric capital infrastructure projects, interfacing with management, clients, engineering, and construction teams to ensure on-time performance. Qualifications

• Proficiency using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Familiarity with the practical application of project controls.
• 7+ years of project experience.
• Post-secondary graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients, and vendors of varying position levels.
• Motivation: Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge to add value to project team operation; detail oriented.
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge in MS Office tools, with emphasis on advanced Excel and/or Access.

Responsibilities

• Implement project controls tools and methodology.
• Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
• Perform critical path analysis, provide schedule insights and corrective actions when required.
• Support schedule contingency management, and identify and manage project risks with stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the baseline to the project team.
• Proactively manage schedule variances and challenge deviations.
• Support month end closing and phase gate processes.
• Ensure standardized file locations exist for all required schedule documents.
• Produce look-ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
• Assemble supporting documentation to meet requests.
• Analyze data and build reports to support monitoring and decision making.
• Interface regularly with project management to monitor schedule performance.
• Interface with cost analysts to develop time-phased cost forecasts.
• Possible travel to client offices for coordination meetings.
