Job summary

UL Solutions in Northbrook, IL is seeking a seasoned Engineering professional for a hybrid role requiring three days onsite. You will independently determine project scope, develop plans, and coordinate lab tests with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in TIC or related testing/manufacturing settings, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel may occur for client-site tests and ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years TIC experience in Testing, Inspection or Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and multi-priority handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, develop preliminary plan, and define specs by analyzing client input.
• Coordinate complex lab activities and establish completion dates.
• Explain UL procedures, costs, and test requirements to clients.
• Address client concerns and resolve complex issues.
• Provide technical assistance for product inspection and follow-up services.
• Represent UL on committees or industry events when assigned.
