Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in legal or insurance.
• Equivalent level of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle professional liability claims involving E&O to achieve optimum payout and fair resolution.
• Assess and analyze coverage issues; issue coverage letters and documentation.
• Complete timely investigation and post appropriate reserves.
• Pursue risk transfer opportunities, including indemnity and additional insured issues.
• Handle claims in accordance with RLI's Best Practices.
• Resolve claims in a timely manner to an effective outcome.
• Travel to and attend mediations, settlement conferences, and/or trials as warranted.
