Job summary

RLI Insurance Company is seeking a Technical Claim Manager to oversee professional liability claims from notice to resolution within MPL and E&O lines. You will manage a team of surveyors, investigators, adjusters, attorneys, and experts, ensuring proper documentation, coverage analysis, and timely payout decisions while upholding RLI's Best Practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related legal or insurance experience.
• Equivalent level of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle professional liability claims to achieve optimum payout results.
• Assess and analyze coverage issues and issue coverage letters.
• Complete timely investigation and post appropriate reserves.
• Coordinate with surveyors, investigators, adjusters, attorneys, and experts.
• Attend mediations, settlements, and trials as warranted.
