Job summary

Novolex, a leading packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Production Planner for a hybrid role in Lake Forest, IL. You will translate supply plans into actionable plant schedules and lead weekly S&OE discussions with stakeholders across the organization.

You will own product line planning, identify capacity opportunities, and drive improvements while partnering with manufacturing and sales teams. Strong ERP/MRP experience and APICS certification are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
• APICS or IBF certification preferred.
• ERP experience required.
• MRP experience and understanding preferred.
• Experience with Advanced Planning Software; Blue Yonder preferred.
• Analytical capability with Excel and databases.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong judgement and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across multiple production sites to assess capacity and capability.
• Manage multi-step, multi-facility production to hit target inventory.
• Drive continuous improvements to the S&OE process.
• Own a product category/line across business units.
• Review plans with manufacturing and balance sourcing across sites.
• Plan timelines for promotions from concept to production.
• Coordinate cross-functional responses to material issues.
• Develop execution plans for outages, new products, and inventory builds.
• Clean up data in ERP systems.
• Serve as primary liaison between plants and customer service/sales.
• Participate in capacity and asset investment meetings.
