This hybrid role blends hands-on leadership on the shop floor with strategic planning to ensure efficient resource utilization and on-time order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize workflow.
• Supervise and support Production Leads and Operators involved in coiling, forming, grinding, packaging and other manufacturing processes.
• Ensure the effective use of equipment, materials, and labor to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Monitor production performance and adjust plans to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily production meetings with operations and Inside Sales.
• Drive process improvements and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage training matrix and identify cross training needs to create a flexible work force.
• Assist in the budgeting process and manage accordingly.
• Work with engineering on the development of new business opportunities, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
