Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Application Support Engineer in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) for a 12-month contract. The role requires Linux/Windows systems administration, certificate management, patching, and supporting build activities for development teams.

You will coordinate across multiple teams and leverage Jira for task tracking. Preferred candidates have scripting experience and familiarity with IIS, Apache, MongoDB, and MSSQL.

Qualifications

• Must have proficiency with Linux Command Line and Windows OS administration.
• Experience using JIRA for task tracking and coordination across teams.
• Familiar with middleware like IIS, Apache, MongoDB, and MSSQL; basic scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution support for an application manager.
• Perform basic OS troubleshooting on Linux and Windows systems.
• Manage certificates and password rotations for applications.
• Coordinate the patching of systems and software.
• Facilitate the build of servers and software for development teams.
• Coordinate work across multiple teams to ensure timely project execution.
