Transamerica is seeking an Actuarial professional to perform complex calculations, analytics, and systems analysis for life product development. You will ensure calculations meet product designs and state/federal rules, delivering clear specifications for cross-functional teams.

The role requires collaboration with Technology and Operations, final sign-off on technical requirements, and mentoring of junior staff. The position is hybrid with in-office days in Cedar Rapids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance or equivalent experience.
• Six years of experience in modeling, business systems analysis, or data analytics.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced actuarial calculations, data analytics, and business systems analysis.
• Align calculations with product designs and regulations.
• Create calculation specifications and numeric examples for cross-functional use.
• Collaborate with Technology and Operations to ensure accurate product specifications.
• Provide final signoff on technical requirements and test plans.
• Mentor and assist junior team members as needed.
