Job summary

Strive Health seeks a Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting to support actuarial functions and evaluate new business opportunities. You will execute assignments using actuarial and statistical methods and benefit from an actuarial study program to motivate and support exams.

Reports to the Senior Director, Actuarial. In this role you will collaborate with Finance, Partner Success, and Growth teams, present models to diverse audiences, and communicate insights to clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
• Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
• Internet connectivity meeting min speeds (3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps) with acceptable latency.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunity assessments for new clients or expansions.
• Refine the opportunity assessment model using industry data.
• Evaluate financial impact of key contractual terms with contracting team.
• Develop client-specific assumptions for new business within budgeting.
• Present models and insights to internal and external partners.
