Job summary

BWH Hotels is seeking a Senior Payroll Representative in Phoenix to administer US and Canadian payrolls in a hybrid, onsite-office setting. You will handle bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, audits, and regulatory compliance, while supporting year-end processes and data integrity across multiple jurisdictions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and service to employees, with collaboration across HR and Finance. 6201 N 24th Parkway address noted; hybrid schedule supported.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3-4 years related payroll experience including automated timekeeping and payroll systems experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Workday and Dayforce preferred.
• Canadian payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for U.S. and Canadian employees.
• Review employee electronic timesheets in Workday and audits, resolve exceptions with managers.
• Review payroll transactions for earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits.
• Reconcile payroll results with HR and Benefits to ensure accuracy before transmission.
• Validate payroll balancing reports and payroll registers.
• Coordinate payroll funding and related accounting entries.
• Maintain and document payroll procedures and internal controls.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with timely, accurate information.
• Support year-end processing including Forms W-2, T4, T2200, RL-1, and filings.
