Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Paralegal - Litigation in New York with a strong background in complex matters and eDiscovery workflow. You will support attorneys, draft documents, conduct research and coordinate between clients, counsel, and vendors to advance matters.

You will manage document databases, prepare litigation materials, and ensure filings comply with procedural rules across jurisdictions while leveraging Relativity and related software. Hybrid work in NYC is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of paralegal experience in a specific practice area.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafts simple pleadings and assists attorneys with motions and filings.
• Perform cite-checking, fact-checking and Blue Booking of memoranda.
• Assist with witness interviews, hearings, depositions, trials, arbitrations or mediations.
• Review and organize document databases for case tracking and discovery.
• Utilize Relativity and eDiscovery tools; manage data rooms and matter files.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local procedural rules; file electronically.
