Battelle in the greater Washington, DC area seeks a Senior Operations Research Analyst for a full-time role supporting DHS through RDT&E activities. You will apply advanced problem-solving, data-driven analysis, and subject-matter expertise across technical and business domains.

This position emphasizes modeling, performance management, regulatory compliance, and clear communication with senior government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in systems engineering.
• Expertise in economic/behavioral analysis or data analytics.
• Experience in process reengineering, performance management, SPC.
• MS Office proficiency: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance with DHS suitability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex issues and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Apply economic/biometric/data analytics to support DHS missions.
• Support process improvement including performance management.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and strategic planning.
• Assist with program planning, oversight, and evaluation.
• Communicate findings to senior government personnel.
